Priocnemis (Priocnemis) ishikawai Lelej in Lelej & Yamane, 1992: 100 (key and description), ♀ ♂. Holotype, ♀, Japan, Kyushu [SKYC].

Diagnosis. Male. Body length 4.5–7.0 mm. Paramere with two outer stout spines (lateral view) (Figs 35, 36). Hypopygium as in Figs 15, 37. Female. Body length 6.0–10.0 mm. Fore wing with hyaline basal half, and distinct subapical milky white spot. Propodeum posteriorly with fine, but distinct transverse striae. Fore wing cu-a postfurcal 1.5 × its length. Metasoma completely black.

Kujû, Kyushu, 6.VIII.1991 (A. Lelej)" [SKYC] . Other material. Japan, Honshu: 1 ♀, Tokyo, Imperial Palace, Hukiage Gyoen, 12– 26.VII.1996 (K. Konishi) ; 1 ♂, Tokyo, Chiyodaku, Kokyo, 30.IX.1997 (A. Shimizu) [CEATB] .

Distribution. Japan (Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku, Tsushima) (Lelej & Yamane 1992, Shimizu & Terayama 2016).

Remarks. In dry condition outer spines on paramere of male genitalia may be glued forming one stout spine (Figs 13, 14), but after softing in the sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH, 10%), two spines instead one are clearly visible (Figs 35, 36).
