Discussion. Differential diagnosis. Laminiceps infrequens sp. nov., and L. fasciatus (Dallas) are closely related by having a wide complete yellow transverse fascia running across anterior lobe of pronotal disk (Figs. 6–7, 21). In L. infrequens the collar and callar region are dull black color; scutellum yellow with apex black; corium without yellow transverse fascia; head black except the longitudinal stripe close to eyes and outer border of buccula yellow; femora black; and abdominal sterna III–VII black with pleural abdominal sterna yellow. In L. fasciatus the anterior lobe of pronotal disk including collar and callar region are yellow; scutellum black; corium with wide yellow complete transverse fascia; and head ventrally, tylus, femora and abdominal sterna III–VII yellow.
