Genus Apotomus Illiger, 1807

Apotomus sp.

New record for Hong Kong, see Aston (2015a). This genus and subfamily are new to Hong Kong. Unfortunately the only specimen is a female, and is clearly none of the two species previously recorded in China (Aston 2015a). Wrase (2003) lists no species of this tribe for China. Material 1♀ W.T.L., 23.ix.10. Biology: Imago found September. Only known from light trap. Presumably capable of flight.
