Subgenus Harpalus

Harpalus (Harpalus) crates Bates, 1883

Bates (1883) in the original description of this species, noted that this species occurs in Hong Kong. Also listed as occurring in Hong Kong by Tschitschérine (1897) and Kataev et al. (2003). Tschitschérine (1904) lists a junior synonym of this species, Harpalus chlorizans Bates, 1892, as occurring in Hong Kong.
