New record for Hong Kong. This is a widespread species and has been expected to occur in Hong Kong. Determined from Terada et al. (2013) and Jedlièka (1965b). Hong Kong, Lantau, Pui O, 12.iv.15 Pui O, in mud at edge of Buffalo Wallah; 4 exx. Hong Kong, Mai Po 16.iv.15, light trap; 1 of 30.iv. 15 W.T.L.; 1 ex W.T.L., 2.vi.15; 1 ex. W.T.L., 14.vi.15; 1 ex. Found in wet habitats such as muddy pools and wet moss. Can be attracted to light.
