Physodera parvicollis Van de Poll, 1889
This species was described from Hong Kong specimens, and is listed by Jedlièka (1963), Hua (2002), Kabak (2003) and Shi et al. (2013). The only distinguishing feature between this species and P. eschscholtzii Parry 1849, is the size of the pronotum, smaller and narrower in P. parvicollis . As the only recent specimens of this genus collected in Hong Kong match well the type specimens of P. eschscholtzii, a comparison of type material is needed to ascertain whether both species names refer to the same taxon.
