Genus Dolichus Bonelli, 1810

Dolichus halensis Schaller, 1783

Redtenbacher (1867) recorded Dolichus flavicornis (Fabricius, 1787), a junior synonym of this species from Hong Kong. Do et al. (2012) concluded that this species is often associated with paddy fields and that the populations declined after this form of farming is abandoned. This may be the reason why this species has not been recorded recently in Hong Kong, since commercial rice cultivation in Hong Kong has almost entirely ceased several decades ago.
