Syntrechalea lomalinda (Carico, 1993) new combination
Trechalea lomalinda Carico, 1993: 253, figs 24, 34, 69–72, male holotype from Lomalinda, Puerto Lleras, Meta, Colombia, 300 m elevation, 15.IV.1986, B. T. Carroll leg. (CAS) (examined).
Note. The species is transferred to Syntrechalea F. O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1902 by sharing the following morphological characters: the carapace is low with the cephalic region uniquely elevated and the eyes located in tubercles (Carico, 2008: 124, fig. 19), the retrolateral tibial apophysis (RTA) is bifurcate with the ectal division (ECD) narrow and the ental division equally prominent and flattened (Carico, 2008: 123, fig. 9), flexible distal haft of metatarsi and flexible tarsi (Carico, 2008: 124, fig. 18), the epigynum has the middle field distinct and in a posterior position and surrounded by the anterior field anteriorly and laterally (Carico, 2008: 123, fig. 10).
