D: X, 13 to 16 (usually 15). A: III, 7 (very rarely 8). P: 16 to 18 (usually 17). C: 15 (8 + 7). V: 26 (10 + 16). S: 2. GR: 34 to 41 (9 to 13 + 24 to 29). LL: 35 to 43 (usually 38 to 40). CP: 18 to 23 (usually 20 or 21).

Distribution: “western Atlantic from North Carolina to southern Brazil (to as far south as Lat. 31.4° S)—including Bermuda, West Indies, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean Sea” (Anderson & Heemstra, 2012:104).
