Hypoplectrodes cardinalis Allen & Randall, 1990

Hypoplectrodes cardinalis is a replacement name for Hypoplectrodes ruber (Allen, 1976), a junior secondary homonym of Scopularia rubra de Buen, 1959, a junior synonym of Hypoplectrodes semicinctum (see Anderson &Heemstra, 1989:1016).

Holotype: WAM P25314–003, 71.0 mm SL.
