Statzner, if not mentioned otherwise, dissected and slide mounted): 0/1/ 0, same locality as holotype, drift day, 10.i.1978; 1/1/0, same locality as holotype, drift night, 09.viii.1977, in liquid; 0/1/0, same locality as holotype, drift night, 27.i.1977; 0/1/0, same locality as holotype, drift night, 11.v.1977; 0/1/0, Côte d’Ivoire, River N’zi near Tinbé (T) drift day, 17.viii.1977, in liquid; 0/1/0, ibid., drift day, 11.vii.1977; 0/1/0, ibid., drift night, 12.i.1977; 0/1/0, Côte d’Ivoire, River N’zi near Fetekro (F), drift day, 13.i.1977; 1/0/0, Côte d’Ivoire, River N’zi near Kolomikro (K), drift night, 26.i.1977.
Diagnosis: Dorsal shield oval (L/W ratio 1.1), with medial depression; muscle scars, with well pronounced thickenings, shifted to the edges of medial depression (Figs. 38D–F); gnathosomal bay V-shaped; tips of Cx-I ending posterior to frontal margin; medial margin of Cx-IV reduced to a median angle; Cx-III and -IV with a series of longitudinal striae (five pairs on Cx-IV). Palp (Figs. 29C, 30B): P-1 without a dorsal seta; P-2 with straight or slightly concave ventral and strongly convexly bowed dorsal margin; P-3 distally higher than proximally, ventral margin proximally with an inflation, from here to distal edge straight; P-4 ventral margin slightly concave. Legs: I- L (Fig. 29D), with I-L-6 stout, L/H ratio 2.3-2.4; IV-L: Fig. 29E; swimming setae numbers: III-L-4, 5; III-L-5, 5-7; IV-L-4, 4-5; IV-L-5, 4-5.

Etymology: Named after the river from which the type specimen was collected.
Discussion: Djeboa nzia sp. nov. shares with Djeboa crocodilorum sp. nov. from South Africa the V-shaped gnathosomal bay, P-1 lacking dorsal seta and P-3 distally higher than proximally. It differs in the morphology of the dorsal shield, with the central depression less extensive and the lateral ridges not extending to frontal and caudal margin (compare Figs. 38D–F with 38G); P-3 ventral margin distally straight and basally with a small hump; tips of Cx-I not extending beyond frontal margin, and Cx-III/IV with longitudinal striation.
Distribution: Côte d’Ivoire.
