Djeboa wondergemi Pešić & Smit sp. nov.

Type series: Holotype female, dissected and slide mounted, Ghana, Kue River, Kyabobo NP, 8º 31.087 N, 0º 36.049E, 208 m asl., 25.ii.2013 Smit.

Diagnosis: Dorsal shield oval (L/W ratio 1.1), with medial depression; muscle scars with well pronounced thickenings, at nearly equal distance anterior and posterior to the postocularia, second pair of muscle scars extending to the edge of dorsal depression (Fig. 38C); gnathosomal bay V-shaped; tips of Cx-I extending beyond frontal margin; medial margin of Cx-IV reduced to a median angle, posterior margin extending posterolaterally. Palp (Fig. 36E): P-1 without dorsal seta; P-2 inflated, ventral margin straight, dorsal margin strongly bowed; P-3 much higher proximally than distally, dorsal margin strongly convex; P-4 slender, basally thickened. Legs: I-L (Fig. 36C), with I-L-6 L/H ratio 2.0, ventral margin distally convexly protruding; IV-L-5-6: Fig. 36D; swimming setae numbers: III-L-4, 5; III-L-5, 7; IV-L-4, 3-4; IV-L-5, 5.

Female: Idiosoma (ventral view: 36B) L/W 413/363. Dorsal shield (Figs. 36A, 38C) L/W 366/323, ratio 1.14; gnathosomal bay L 71. Gonopore L/W 88/63, ratio 1.4; egg (n = 1) maximum diameter 66. Palp (Fig. 36E): total L 150-154; L/H, L/H ratio: P-1, 15/22, 0.7; P-2, 40/40, 1.0; P-3, 40-42/30-32, 1.29-1.3; P-4, 43-45/16-17, 2.5-2.8; P- 5, 12/7, 1.8; chelicera total L 83; gnathosoma vL 72. Legs: dL of I-L: 26, 39, 31, 34, 49, 60; I-L-6 H 31, I-L-6 L/H ratio 2.0; dL of IV-L-3-6: 53, 66, 80, 94.

Male: Unknown.

Etymology: Named after Peter Wondergem (Accra), in appreciation of his help during the collecting trip of HS.

Discussion: See under Djeboa globulipalpis sp. nov.

Distribution: Ghana, known only from the type locality (Fig. 45C).
