Genus Mastax Fischer von Waldheim, 1828

This genus is represented by three species in northern Pakistan, Mastax histrio Fabricius, 1801; M. pakistana Jedlicka, 1963 and M. rawalpindi Jedlicka, 1963 . We report here only the former two species whereas M. rawalpindi could not be collected despite extensive collection efforts across the type locality.
