Remarks. Haplidia endroedii was described from Jordan (Wadi Sir, type locality) and recorded from Lebanon by Montreuil (2005) on the base of a specimen from Bziza. The re-examination of this specimen invalidates its former identification: it is in fact a male of Haplidia karlaeschneiderae Sehnal, Montreuil & Uliana, new species . As no other data attests the presence of H. endroedii in Lebanon, this species does not seem to occur in Lebanon and should be removed from the list of Haplidia occurring in this country. Haplidia endroedii is recorded from Israel and Jordan.
