Remarks. Chikatunov & Pavlíček (1997) recorded Aplidia baudii from Lebanon, after El-Hariri (1971), and reminded old records from Syria. This species was described from Cyprus and Baraud (1988) recorded it from Rhodos. Bezděk (2016) did not give credit to the records of this species from the continent. Miessen (2016) and Sehnal (in press), consider the synonymy between Haplidia baudii (Cyprus, patria falsa) and Haplidia hirticollis Burmeister, 1855, from southern Italy. This species does not belong to the Lebanese fauna.
