Distribution. Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guadeloupe, Honduras, USA, Venezuela (Punta Moreno Bank, Nueva Esparta: Macsotay & Campos, 2001). Circumtropical (Valdés et al. 2006).

Remarks. No material of this species was found. Venezuela is the southern limit of the distribution of this species in the Caribbean.
