Distribution. Brazil, Venezuela (Valdés et al. 2006).

Remarks. Valdés et al. (2006) reported this species for Venezuela pointing out that their specimens had a different colour pattern than the animals from Brazil. Venezuela is the northern limit of the distribution of this species. No material of this species was found.
