Distribution. Palearctic species, widely distributed in the northern part of Morocco (L’Mohdi 2016). In the Moulouya River basin, this species is only known for Oued Za (Chavanon et al. 2004), but probably it is much more common than the records suggest. Our work considerably increased the records of its distribution in Morocco (Fig. 10).
