Distribution. Afrotropical-Palearctic taxon. In Morocco, it is known from localities far from each other (L’Mohdi 2016). This is a new species for the Moulouya River basin and the Oriental Region. During the study period, A. debilis perplexus was found in Lower Moulouya, downstream of Oued Za and around Oujda (Fig. 7).
