Distribution. Mainly Atlantic-Mediterranean species, also found in central Europe and widely distributed in the northern part of Morocco (L’Mohdi 2016). In the Oriental Region, the species was only known for Zeghzel springs (Chavanon et al. 2004); however, our work has considerably increased the records of its distribution in the study area (Fig. 10).
