Distribution. Sub-Cosmopolitan species. This is undoubtedly the most abundant and common species of Sigara in Morocco (L’Mohdi 2016). S. lateralis is widely distributed in the Moulouya River basin (Chavanon et al. 2004, Taybi 2016) (Fig. 8).
