Distribution. Ibero-Maghrebian Endemism (Aukema & Rieger 1995). In Morocco, this species is more common in the northwest (L’Mohdi 2016). In the study area, it has been recorded in the Zeghzel River (Chavanon et al. 2004). During the sampling period, G. brasili was found in the vicinity of Laâyoune (Fig. 3).
