Ulopsina (Indoulopa) himalayana sp. nov.

Colouration and structure as in generic description.

Male genitalia. Pygofer dorsal margin declivous in posterior half, ventral margin rounded, posterodorsal region angularly produced, without macrosetae and selectively pigmented in anterior and dorsal regions (Fig. 11A, hatched areas), anterior margins with dorsal and ventral apodemes. Subgenital plate of uniform width for most part and with conically rounded apex. Aedeagus posteriorly projected, endotheca extending to apices of horizontal subgenital plates.

Measurements. Male 5.4 mm long, 2.3 mm wide across eyes and 1.9 mm wide across posterolateral angels of pronotum.

Material examined. INDIA: West Bengal: Holotype ♂, Darjeeling (BMNH) . Paratype ♂, Kurseong (BMNH) .

Remarks. Ulopsina (Indoulopa) himalayana very much resembles U. (U.) sinica externally, but differs in the male genitalia characters as discussed under the genus.
