Diagnosis: Eye bare; parafacial bare; postpedicel exceptionally long, at least 10 times as long as pedicel; arista bare, thickened nearly to apex; prementum short, at most 2 times as long as wide; palpus absent; genal dilation well-developed; anepimeral seta short; scutellum with 2–3 pairs of marginal setae; postmetacoxal area membraneous; costal seta not differentiated; wing cell r 4+5 closed with long petiole; middorsal depression of syntergite 1+2 not extending to posterior margin of that segment; abdominal syntergite 1+2 without median marginal setae.
