Tachysphex longipalpis simplex Pulawski 1971:302, ♀, ³. Holotype: ³, Turkmenistan: Krasnovodsk. Paratypes: Iran and Israel .
Distribution in Iran: Tehran (Pulawski 1971).
General distribution: Palaearctic (Iran, Israel, Oman, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates).
Remarks: This taxon was originally described as the subspecies Tachysphex longipalpis simplex from Turkmenistan (Holotype), Iran and Israel (Paratypes) (see Pulawski 1971). Recently, Straka & Schmid-Egger (2017) recorded it from United Arab Emirates and raised it to full species status.
