HISTORIQUE. — Précédemment cité de Guyane comme Copaxa decrescens Walker, 1855 (Lemaire 1978) .

RÉPARTITION GÉOGRAPHIQUE. — Guyane (Schaus 1906).

REMARQUE TAXONOMIQUE. — Les études moléculaires relèguent Copaxadecrescens à la faune sud-est brésilienne et excluent sa présence en Amazonie (Brechlin & Meister 2010a).

DISTRIBUTION EN GUYANE. — Connu des trois zones biogéographiques.

HABITAT EN GUYANE. — Forêt primaire.
