Junceella trilineata Thomson & Henderson, 1905

Juncella trilineata Thomson & Henderson, 1905: 315 (Thailand) .

Opinion: There is no evidence that this species occurs in the region.

Justification:

Literature analysis: Thomson & Henderson (1905) established this species for a specimen from Thailand but did not provide any illustration, which left it essentially unidentifiable. Simpson (1910) assigned a small fragment from off Sri Lanka to this species because of the three longitudinal rows of polyps, but he had not seen the original material. Rao & Devi (2003) list the species as occurring in the Andamans with no evidence.
