Distribution in Iran. Ardabil (Modarres Awal 1986 as Apion apricans), East Azarbaijan (Modarres Awal 1997, 2012 as Apion apricans; Legalov et al. 2010), Northern provinces (Farahbakhsh 1961; Modarres Awal 1997, 2012 as Apion apricans).

Plant associations in Iran. Anthemis sp. ( Asteraceae) (Modarres Awal 1986), clover (Farahbakhsh 1961), bean, lucerne (Farahbakhsh 1961; Modarres Awal 1997, 2012), sainfoin, weeds and sometimes on wheat (Modarres Awal 1997, 2012).
