Diagnosis. Small spiders with body length of 6–10 mm and colour pattern B. The epigyne shown in Tikader (1970: fig. 34b) shows similarities of an epigyne of a premature female (e.g. shown in Fig. 117 for D. lepida). It is possible that a mature female was illustrated, but only dark parts were considered (cf. D. ornata comb. nov., Fig. 151). Therefore, and since no details of the vulva are shown, no detailed diagnosis is provided here.

Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
