Type depository. Holotype, ♀ (PCJM).

Type locality. Albania: Skhodër, Mt. Cukalit, 1300 m.

Diagnosis. This species belongs to the group of species with more convex, suboval-shaped body and shiny elytral intervals with very sparsely distributed thin setae (Fig. 66). It differs from other Dima species in the region by the combination of following characters: paler and wider, more robust body, wide, shiny pronotum with very shallow fine punctures and short decumbent pubescence, and wide angulate scutellum (Figs 66, 145). By the general habitus and shapes of pronotum and scutellum, this species is like D. elateroides, but they differ by the body surface and pubescence.

Distribution. Albania (Skhodër: Mt. Cukalit; Fig. 243).

Remark. Dima moraveci is known only from the female holotype (Fig. 66).
