Description of male. Like female, but with relatively longer antennae, surpassing the hind angles of pronotum by about three antennomeres (about one in females), and pronotum slightly narrower than in females (Fig. 32). Aedeagus as in Fig. 185.

Diagnosis. This species belongs to the group of species with a more convex, suboval-shaped body and shiny elytral intervals with very sparsely distributed thin setae (Figs 31–34). Dima florinensis is a medium-sized species (body length: 11.0–13.0 mm) with long, almost tangled, semi-erect pubescence on the head and pronotal sides (typical for this species; Fig. 129), short antennae and by the distinct double punctation of pronotum (Fig. 129). It is very like D. macedonica by the habitus, double punctation of pronotum, and shape and length of antennae. These species differ in the scutellum ( D. florinensis has a scutellum on the same plane as the elytra in lateral view; D. macedonica has a scutellum raised above the plane of the elytra; Fig. 164) and pubescence of the pronotal sides ( D. macedonica has pubescence in anterior third of the pronotal sides about 0.5 times as long as in the posterior half; Figs 141–143). D. raineri differs from D. florinensis by the decumbent pubescence in the first half of pronotal sides and double punctation of pronotum being less distinct, with punctures more similar in size to each other (Figs 154– 155), and D. vailatii by the denser pubescence of the elytra and the shorter pubescence of pronotal sides (Figs 109– 113, 158–160). The sclerotized spines of bursa copulatrix as in Fig. 228.

Intraspecific variability. There is an intraspecific variability in the length of the apical lobe of paramera in D. florinensis (similarly as in D. macedonica). The holotype is darker than remaining specimens, which are reddishbrown (Figs 31–34). There is a variability in the punctation density on the pronotum; most specimens have densely punctate pronotum, but some specimens from Nizhepole region have sparser punctures. The female collected in the northern slope of Galičica is paler and has much sparser pronotal punctation than the remaining specimens of this species (Fig. 34).

Distribution. Greece (Varnous Mts., Mt. Verno), Macedonia (Baba Mts., Galičica Mts.) (Fig. 244). First record for Macedonia.
