Paraleptomysis xenops (W.M. Tattersall, 1922)

Type locality. Andaman Islands (W.M. Tattersall 1922) .

Record from Thailand. South-eastern Andaman Sea, next to Phuket Island (Fukuoka & Murano 2002).

Habitat and depth range. Marine, depth: 38–61 m (Fukuoka & Murano 2002) .

Distribution. This species is distributed from the Andaman Islands (W.M. Tattersall 1922), South China Sea (Liu & Wang 1983) to the Andaman Sea (Fukuoka & Murano 2002).

Remarks. The characteristics of P. xenops are very close to P. sinensis, but the uropodal endopod is armed with 6–12 spines on the inner margin, while there are 1–3 spines in P. sinensis (Wittmann 1986) .
