Nearctic: 1) USA (Keirans & Clifford 1978, Durden & Keirans 1996, Lindquist et al. 2016).

A female of Ixodes baergi was found in Canada, but Lindquist et al. (2016) believed that this tick is not established in that country; consequently, the range of Ixodes baergi is regarded here as restricted to the USA.
