Neotropical: 1) Venezuela (Guglielmone et al. 2003, 2021).

Camicas et al. (1998) treated Amblyomma beaurepairei as a synonym of Amblyomma curruca, a tick generally recognized as a synonym of Amblyomma auricularium, and Kolonin (2009) listed Amblyomma beaurepairei as a synonym of Amblyomma auricularium . Guglielmone et al. (2003, 2014, 2021) treated Amblyomma beaurepairei as provisionally valid, an opinion also accepted here.
