Group schlingeri

Definition. Penis lobes short, swollen ventrally and greatly widened apically; telopenes in form of spear-like rolls, long, curved and directed medially-ventrally (Figs 203–204, 236–239–242). In imago and subimago of both sexes, femora once-banded; abdominal tergum VI concolor with tergum VII (Figs 198–199, 232–234); the same coloration in Th. quevedoensis Flowers 2009 (see below) and Th. cochunaensis Dominguez 1987 . Both species placed to the group schlingeri have the same structure of labrum and larval cuticular coloration (see below). Tergalii have similar shape, but in Th. schlingeri they have side tracheae (Figs 178–184), while in Th. marreroi have not them (Figs 220–226).
