1. Platypleura elizabethae Lee, 2009

(Fig. 1 A, B)

Platypleura elizabethae Lee, 2009c: 2618 [TL: C. Palawan].

Material examined. 1 male, Mindanao, Surigao del Sur, Lianga, 8 km W. of Diatagon, 200 m, 08°42’N 126°05’E, 3–7 VII 2005, J.H. Lourens (IRSNB); 1 male, 1 female, Mindanao, Surigao Sur, San Augustin Brgy Gata, 140 m, 08°43.308’N 126°05.691’E, 17–18 III 2009, J.H. Lourens & K. Cerny (IRSNB).

Distribution. Philippines (Mindanao and Palawan).

Remarks. This species is newly recorded from Mindanao. This specimen (Fig. 1 A, B) has a broader dark gray cloudy pattern on the inner half of the forewing and a broader grayish part on the annal cell 2 (vannus) than the specimens from Palawan. However, no difference is recognizable in the male genitalia. Platypleura sp. aff. nobilis by Endo & Hayashi (1979) probably refers to this species.
