Distribution. China: Beijing (Egorov, 2008), Hebei (Egorov, 2008), Heilongjiang (new record), Liaoning (Kaszab, 1940; Egorov, 2008), Ningxia (Wang, Ren & Liu, 1992), North-Eastern (Egorov, 1989), Shandong (Kaszab, 1940; Egorov, 2008), Shanxi (Kaszab, 1940; Egorov, 2008), Taiwan (Miwa, 1931; Kaszab, 1940); Japan (Lewis, 1895; Kaszab, 1940).

Remarks. P. subcordata was recorded from Taiwan by Miwa (1931), Kaszab (1940) could not find the specimen(s) although he recognised the authenticity of its distribution. P. strigicollis was described from Japan by Lewis (1895). However, there were no distribution records of Taiwan and Japan by Egorov (2008), probably considered of transporting goods (e.g., woods) by human. In the recent study, precious specimens of P. ovata Ballion, 1878 have been collected from Qinghai, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Guangxi, (see material of P. ovata), and Oodescelis (Acutoodescelis) sp. from Taiwan (not published yet), and also Oodescelis sp. from Hubei (not published yet). Therefore, the distribution records of Taiwan and Japan should be restored.
