Torodora kambanella (Viette, 1986)

Type. 1♂ (holotype), East Madagascar, near 3 rd Integral Natural Reserve [Zahamena National Park], road to Manakambahiny East, near Nosivola, alt. 1,000 m, 16 xi 1954, P. Viette leg.; genitalia: prep. P. Viette no. 3810 .
Adult (Figs. 9A, B). Wingspan, 18 mm. The species is characterized by the trapezoidal blackish antemedian band discontinued to inner margin, and triangular blackish costal patch developed in 2/3 of costa on the forewing. The hind wing venation has M 3 stalked with CuA 1 at distal 1/5 (Fig. 9C). The abdomen has broad spinose zones on dorsal surface (Fig. 9F).
Male genitalia (Figs. 9D, E): See the line drawing given by Viette (1986, Fig. 10). Uncus long, elongate, narrowed apically. Basal plate of gnathos elongated with round apex. Valva elongated with spatulate cucullus; cucullus broadened distally with round apex. Aedeagus as long as valva, globular at base; cornuti consist of a long sac with numerous spinules and heavily sclerotized, shorter plate.
Remarks. This species was previously transferred from Lecithocera to Torodora by Park (2018).
Distribution. Madagascar (East) (Viette, 1986).
