Chrysis maracandensis Radoszkowski 1877: 14 .

Type locality: Uzbekistan: “Habitat in valle Sarafschan et in desertis prope Taschkent”, [collected on the 2nd of June in the Zaravshan Valley, 9th June 1869 at Samarkand and the 28th of May 1871 in steppe between Syr-Darya and Tashkent].

Lectotype, ♂: 2. <printed on green-blue label> // Заравш. дол [Zaravsh. Valley] <printed> // Chrysis maracandensis Rad. // 2.VI.1869 <handwritten by Antropov>.

Remarks. Lectotype designated by Bohart (in Kimsey & Bohart 1991: 436). In Radoszkowski's collection in ISEA-PAN there are two paralectotypes (Rosa et al. 2015). All the specimens are males and not females as written in the original description. It belongs to the C. scutellaris species-group.
