Remarks. Pseudoplectella dentatum is known from a single record off Chile; in the Nazca ridge by the RV Professor Shtockman (25°07’48” S; 99°34’00” W to 99º37'12” W) at a depth of 350–490 m (Tabachnick, 1990). This species has not been registered again since its description.
