Saryara octoannulata Kuznetzov, 1923: 127, ♀ ♂ (type locality: “ Montes Ac-Tasch, distr. Taschkent, Turkestan. Alt 7500ʹ” [Uzbekistan]).
Type material. Current status. Valid as Celonites octoannulatus (Kuznetzov, 1923) (Carpenter 2001) .
Remarks. Kuznetzov (1923) reported a female and a male collected in Ak-Tash on 29.VI.1922 but there are actually two females and a male with his identification labels. All of them can be considered belonging to the type series according to Art. 72.4.1.1 of ICZN (1999). The lectotype is lacking the right flagellum of antenna. The elevation reported on the labels is 7000ʹ [7000 feet = 2133 m] while the published one is 7500ʹ [7500 feet = 2286 m].
