Dorsal shield 340 (335–345) long and 273 (265–285) wide; j1 23 (21–24), j3 30, j4 2, j5 2, j6 2, J2 2, J5 3 (2–3), z2 2, z4 2, z5 2, Z1 3 (2–3), Z4 3, Z5 123 (115–130), s4 107 (105–110), S2 2 (2–3), S4 2 (2–3), S5 2 (2–3), r3 and R1 not visible; distances between st1-st3 51 (50–52), st2-st2 65 (47–82) and st5-st5 102 (100–104); ventri-anal shield 96 (95–96) long, 114 (110–118) wide at level of ZV2 and 101 (100–102) wide at level of anus; JV5 31 (30–32); movable cheliceral digit 32 (30–32) long, with 3 teeth; fixed cheliceral digit 33 (32–35) long, with 10 teeth; calyx of spermatheca 14 (12–15) long; Sge I 48 (47–48), Sge II 29 (25–33), Sge III 45 (37–52), Sti III 23, Sge IV 70 (65–75), Sti IV 49 (47–52), St IV 35.

Specimens examined: Santo Antônio do Aracanguá (20°55' S, 50°20' W), October 2007, on B. decumbens (1 Ƥ). Turmalina (20°00' S, 50°26' W), June 2008, on B. brizantha (2 Ƥ). Campinas (22°54' S, 47°01' W), July 2008, on B. decumbens (1 Ƥ); 13 August 2008, on B. decumbens (4 Ƥ).

Remarks: This species is previously known from Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Guadeloupe, Marie-Galante, Martinique, Panama, Peru (Guanilo et al. 2008a), Puerto Rico and Venezuela. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the holotype, reported by Aponte & McMurtry (1995), except that Sge IV is about 0.7 times as long.
