Specimens examined: Santo Antônio do Aracanguá (20°55' S, 50°20' W), October 2007, on B. decumbens (2 Ƥ). Sud Mennucci (20°39' S, 50°54' W), October 2007, on M. minutiflora (1 Ƥ). São José do Rio Preto (20°47' S, 49°21' W), February 2008, on B. decumbens (1 Ƥ). Jales (20°13' S, 49°18' W), June 2008 (5 Ƥ, 1 3), July 2008 (10 Ƥ), on B. ruziziensis . São José do Rio Preto (20°45' S, 49°19' W), August 2008, on B. brizantha (4 Ƥ) and on P. maximum (1 Ƥ).
Remarks: This species is previously known from Argentina (Furtado et al. 2007; Guanilo et al. 2008b), Brazil, Colombia, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description, except for those of j4, j5, j6 and J2, which are about twice as long as indicated for the holotype. All measurements are similar to those provided by Moraes & McMurtry (1983) for specimens from northeastern Brazil.
