Remarks: This species is previously known from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Montenegro, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru (Guanilo et al. 2008a), Portugal, Trinidad and Venezuela. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the holotype, provided by Moraes & McMurtry (1983). The measurements of the specimens collected in this study also fit within the ranges given by Noronha & Moraes (2002) for specimens from several places in Brazil.
