Campinas (22°54' S, 47°01' W), August 2008, on B. decumbens (12 Ƥ, 5 3), on P. purpureum (3 Ƥ). Onda Verde (20°32' S, 49°14' W), August 2008, on P. maximum (5 Ƥ).
Remarks: This species was previously known from Brazil, Colombia, Peru (Guanilo et al. 2008a), Puerto Rico and Trinidad. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description.
