COMMENTS: Sokolov et al. (1981 b, 1987b) gave karyological and phallic characters that distinguished this species from S. caucasico and S. concolor, S. armenica (Sokolov and Baskevich, 1988), and S. kazbegica (Sokolov et al., 1986b) . See also comment under Sicista and in Corbet (1984:25).
