Agrilus monadikos sp.nov.

Description of holotype. Size: 5.5 mm. Body dorsally green-black; eyes about as wide as vertex (dorsal view); frons golden-green; pronotum widest at anterior margin, anterior pronotal lobe absent; elytra without pubescent stripes, glabrous; elytral apices separately rounded with dentate margin; prosternal lobe large and arcuate on anterior margin; metasternal projection faintly impressed.
Variability. The species is known only from the male holotype.
Diagnosis. The species can be distinguished only by its very peculiar aedeagus. The medial lobe (penis) is robust, almost subtruncate on apex and twice as wide as the membranous sensory zones of the parameres (Figs. 3F, 5D).
Type material. Type locality: Laos .
Type specimens. Holotype ♂ (EJCB): “ Laos ”.

Host plant. Unknown.
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Greek adjective ΜΟΝαΔΙΚός (unique, sole) and refers to a single type specimen.
