Report associated with sponges: This has been recorded once on freshwater water sponges: Spongilla lacustris and Ephydatia fluviatilis from European freshwaters (Stadler 1935; Arndt & Viets 1938).

Remarks: This species was reported from river Geul, Epen, Netherlands (Smit et al. 2003)
