Halacarellus aleuticus (Newell, 1951)
Report associated with sponges: This species was reported from Oglala Pass, Rat Islands, Aleutian Islands, Alaska at 54.86 m (180 feet) depth in a mixed habitat containing bryozoans, hydrozoans and sponges (Newell 1951a). This was also reported from Kagamil Pass, Islands of the Four Mountains, Aleutian Islands, Alaska at 74.68 m (245 feet) depth among Boulder and gravel bottom covered with corals, sponges, and hydrozoans (Newell 1951a).
