Halacaropsis hirsuta (Trouessart, 1889)

Report associated with sponges: This species was reported among sponge Aplysina sp. from Rovinj (Rovigno), Croatia (Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea) (Viets 1940); among Aplysina aerophoba from Split, Croatia (Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea) (Viets 1939, 1940).

Remarks: This species was also reported associated with algae from Rovinj (Rovigno), Croatia (Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea) (Viets 1940). This was found in various shallow water substrata from southeastern Northatlantic and Mediterranean Sea (Bartsch 2009).
